  Welcome to  DREAM Delta  - a timely reincarnation of DREAM South Delta that is designed to reflect a common desire to advocate for Responsible Development, Ethical Governance and Affordability for all residents of the City of Delta.   As the vision is and always has been to advocate for all of our neighbourhoods and communities AND with the coming municipal election in October 2026, DREAM Delta – D emanding R esponsible development, E thical governance and A ffordability in M unicipal planning in Delta - will be active in ensuring important issues are brought into the conversation and will be working to engage with residents to encourage them to make their voices heard and vote. Question #1: Will YOUR ideal candidate answer YES or NO?

  DREAM Delta puts 2026 local election candidates on the spot! We are asking each individual candidate six direct questions Delta residents want answered.  See our attached list of questions .  Starting June 20 th , we will reveal how each candidate answers. Question #1 on limiting maximum building height :  Will YOUR ideal candidate answer YES or NO? Did you know the current Official Community Plan (OCP) still allows for high-rise towers up to 24 storeys in the Tsawwassen and North Delta urban centres?  The community will never fully agree on the maximum number of storeys that should be allowed, but where is the sweet point of compromise to ensure housing targets are met with minimal impact on infrastructure including roadways, and services including schools and hospitals?  And when does building height become uncomfortably disproportionate to the size of the community ?    No matter how you feel about high-rise development, if you r...
